Steel pipes and steel shaped pieces are used for supply in water supply systems for the flow of drinking water and in the oil industry (gas, oil and oil derivatives). The grade of steel used depends on the purpose of the pipe, relevant standards and official regulations.
Pipes can be supplied with coatings and linings that are applied during installation; external polyethylene (PE Nn, Sv) and additional concrete (FZM), epoxy, galvanized and painted coating and internal: cement, epoxy and galvanized lining.
