Repair clamps are intended for very fast, economical, occasional, undemanding and completely safe and permanent repairs of pipe defects made of brass, steel, PVC, PEHD, glass and AC pipes. They can be used to repair holes and cracks, including transverse fractures. Repairs can be carried out with minimal excavation and under water pressure, which speeds up and reduces the cost of all work. Repair clamps are intended for installation in the ground, but can also be used on freely installed pipes. They are successfully used in utility and industrial enterprises.
They are manufactured for pipes with diameters from DN 40 to DN 600, i.e. for external pipe diameters of 40 – 630 mm. They are supplied in four lengths: 154, 195, 240 and 333 mm.
The entire repair clamp is made of stainless steel AISI304 or similar. The stainless screws are marked A4 with a minimum tensile strength of 750 Mpa. The labyrinth seal made of nitrile rubber is hygienically correct with a shelf life of over 30 (thirty) years. It has been tested to a pressure of 2 Mpa and reliably closes cracks up to 2/3 of its length. When using the connection of the last two pipes at the end of the row, it can withstand the axial force produced by pressure of up to 0.3 Mpa in the pipes. When repairing a transverse crack, it is necessary to pay attention to the pipe centerline.
ASSEMBLY PROCEDURE
– Clean the pipe from coarse dirt
– place the repair clamp on the pipe and properly position the rubber seal around the pipe, under the cover plate
– hold the repair clamp for the plugs and bolts, grasp the threads of the plugs and gradually tighten the bolts until a tightening torque of 30 – 40 Nm, which is approximately the force produced by a normal ring wrench.
